When Aubrey contacted me and asked us to do her family photos, I absolutely could not wait! Aubrey and I met while collaborating on a styled shoot last year. She is the owner of Here Comes the Bride, a gorgeous bridal shop in Coffee Creek in Chesterton, IN. Her store is bright, beautiful, and warm, which are all words I would use to describe Aubrey and her family. (I recently wrote a blog post all about her store, so make sure you check it out!)
As you can see, they are all the CUTEST, and their girls are absolute gems. Not to mention way too cute for their own good! One thing I always love with kids is watching their different personalities. It always amazes me how kids can come from the same two people, but be so vastly different! It’s kind of the fun in seeing which traits are passed to which kids.
We shot right across the street from her store in the beautiful Coffee Creek Preserve, with their family dog joining in for a few. Most of my favorite photos are actually right after the sun sets. There’s this soft, glowy light that surrounds you, and leaves your skin looking flawless. That soft light came out toward the end of our time together and the results were beautiful!
